Rochester Transfer Goes Green
The Rochester branch of Piepho Moving and Storage just completed an upgrade of its warehouse. With the help of Mr. Electric and RPU, Rochester Transfer switched from high pressure sodium lighting to fluorescent lights. This switch will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 11.2 tons per year.
Along with using recycled boxes and buying fuel-efficient vehicles, this overhaul is another step in Piepho Moving’s efforts to become a more environmentally friendly mover.
