Rochester Transfer Goes Green

The Rochester branch of Piepho Moving and Storage just completed an upgrade of its warehouse. With the help of Mr. Electric and RPU, Rochester Transfer switched from high pressure sodium lighting to fluorescent lights. This switch will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 11.2 tons per year.

Along with using recycled boxes and buying fuel-efficient vehicles, this overhaul is another step in Piepho Moving’s efforts to become a more environmentally friendly mover. Piepho Moving Eagan Stamps Out Hunger

The Eagan branch of Piepho Moving and Storage recently participated in the Stamp Out Hunger food drive. Along with the St. Paul Letter Carriers and MTSA, over one million pounds of food were collected for the Second Harvest Food Shelf in St. Paul.

This is an annual event organized by the St. Paul Letter Carriers. At Piepho Moving, we’re happy to have been able to lend equipment, and want to thank those employees who took part in this event.

Girl Scout Cookie Deliveries

February is Girl Scout Cookie Month…we support the Girl Scouts and deliver over 60,000 cases of cookies in Southern Minnesota. That is over one million cookies! The cookie sale is a major fund raiser for the councils, so if you have the opportunity, please purchase and support your local Girl Scouts.
